Voice Policy

The basic rule

You may only clone a voice that is your own, or one whose owner has clearly permitted the use you intend. There is no exception for “just for fun” or “only for personal content”.

Prohibited uses

• Cloning a public figure to make statements they never said.
• Impersonating someone for fraud, including financial scams over calls or voice messages.
• Creating sexual, hateful, or harassing content with someone else’s voice.
• Using a cloned voice to defeat voice-based verification.
• Uploading recordings obtained without the owner’s knowledge.

Consent confirmation

Every time you create a cloned voice you are asked to confirm you have the right to that voice. Workspace owners and admins can make this mandatory for their whole team from workspace settings.

Reporting misuse

If you believe your voice is being used without permission through our service, contact us via the Contact page with evidence such as a link or audio file. Voice abuse reports are handled ahead of the normal queue, and we may disable the voice or account involved while we investigate.

Consequences

Breaching this policy can lead to removal of the cloned voice, account suspension, or permanent closure. Where conduct may be criminal, we may cooperate with the relevant authorities.
